    Blows my mind how (relatively) few people pirate media like TV shows, movies, music and eBooks. Here’s hoping more working class people see the light.

        Making stuff costs money, if everyone pirated, there would be no contents.

        I agree, but I don’t think that your hypothetical actually is viable. It won’t happen that everyone pirates, it will always just be a few percent, couple 10 percent if it were highest. So I think that it’s just a lost business for the big corps which will make them rethink their models.

        If the artist doesnt give you good enough options to enjoy their content, I think it is fair to pirate. If an musician only distribute their music through spotify or if one season of your favourite show is sold for 60 bucks.

        Tax dollars go towards library access to media and it makes no sense for people to effectively pay twice for said content. I understand you’re point but until people start getting paid a livable wage, I’ll always advocate for piracy.
