In some cases they literally prescribe methamphetamine. It’s sold under the brand desoxyn. My ex girlfriend had it. Since then, I’ve stopped conflating the two. They are similar but not quite the same.

I’m a little late but I just wanted to say congrats! 4 years is huge. I’m coming up on 3 years myself and Ive been having thoughts considering going back. Then I remember the misery and it’s just not worth it. Keep fighting the good fight and I’ll be right there with you!
Joining you in not drinking today. Fuck alcohol
Ive had this experience multiple times as well. What’s really freaky is that Ive had it happen years later and I don’t even remember the dream but it comes back to me in the moment and gives me goosebumps. I’m normally not very superstitious or anything so it’s an interesting phenomenon.
Like you, it has never happened for any life altering events, just silly situations.
I love connect! It has been really intuitive to use for me.
Happy belated birthday! I relate with you on the finding any excuse to drink. When I finally gave it up, most of what I did ultimately served my need to consume alcohol. I had to reprogram my entire way of thinking too because it was my sole motivation for everything. Life is about more than that.
Not drinking again today!
Congrats on the 3 weeks. That’s huge! It sounds like you want to change your life and have taken steps to do it. That is huge and I’m proud of you.
The things you are feeling are normal and something I can relate to. Navigating a life that I built for myself that is surrounded by alcohol was and is one of the most challenging things I’ve ever done. I personally had to take a lot of my time and prioritize my sobriety before I was ready for social gatherings again. Your milage may vary. That said, once i did go to a party, I realized most people had no clue I wasn’t drinking. I was much more self conscious about the fact. I would bring NA beer with me or Seltzer and most people wouldn’t ask or care what I was drinking.
Good luck on your journey and I hope you have a kick ass halloween!
Right there with you not drinking today!
Yeah connect has that too. I’d imagine other clients do as well.
Sorry I’m a little late, but happy one year (+12 days)! You should be proud of yourself as it is not an easy feat.
Happy Friday! No ethenol for me either. We don’t need that poison!
If an attacker compromises the page or does a man in the middle and injects a form that isn’t displayed, it can trick your password manager to auto fill your login information and then send it anywhere. But that’s just one vector and if an attacker has compromised the server, there are a number of attack vectors they could take.
The app is nice if you want to use bitwarden to login to other appa. You can allow it permission to run alongside other apps that can fill in login forms.
Well said!
I’m with you! Even though I guess it’s technically Saturday for me. Not drunk but I did try some athletic brewing Octoberfest NA and it was really tasty. Used to be one of my favorite kind of beers this time of year so it hit home with that nostalgia and none of the regret.
Yeah generally I just finish what I was reading while I let the water warm me up. Then put my phone down and wash up. I suppose I only do this because the phone is water resistant, versus buying a water resistant phone because I need to bring it in the shower.
I personally have been bringing my phone in the shower for years. It also gives me peace of mind when I’m doing outdoor activities around water.
I remember once I had my phone in my pocket at a party before they were water resistant and I got knocked into the pool. Would have been all set if that phone had water resistance.
Sorry I’m a little late. I just joined this community and there aren’t too many posts yet. I hope you’re still doing well!
That is huge getting the first good night of sleep after you haven’t in a while. I can say from personal experience that it was a real struggle to get much sleep at all while I was detoxing from alcohol. Probably around 2 weeks before I started getting some good rest at night. Using alcohol as a sleep aid was one of my many excuses to poison myself throughout my twenties, so when I no longer had it, I also had to figure out how to get to sleep like a normal person. Thankfully, it was simple for me: just keep not drinking and sleep will come easily. Now-a-days I still don’t get enough sleep, but its not because I’m up late getting wasted, its because I’m up late playing video games. I’ve been a night person since I was young though, so it really isn’t much different from before I started drinking either.
Just wanted to say I’m a big fan of SMUI. I admire and appreciate the work you have done with it.
