I went back to RSS and my niche community is on instagram/threads. Not the same as it was on Reddit, of course, but I’m having what I want in terms of news and content at least. Right now Lemmy has nothing for me, that’s the truth.

It makes you think about sucking your own dick.
How was it? “Reddit is like 4Chan but with a condom” or something like that they used to say.
Honestly, I think they look kinda bad. I LOVE Santolouco art in the comic but I don’t like these for some reason. Maybe NECA version could look much better.
Sentinel! I have not seen reviews on the KO but the Miles looks kinda bad (I have only seen some pics). I saw that HLJ was selling them again, they are totally worth the money imo but yeah, very expensive.
Have you tried the “haunted ps1 demo discs”? Horror seems to be the genre that always tries something unique in gaming. Things like Iron Lung always amaze me.
“Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.”
Zuck, Musk and all those companies are shit but I’m already engaging a lot with Threads. I love the idea of the Fediverse but the hard truth is that there’s no instance of my hobbies in here (and no, I won’t create them). On Thread, boom! Every person I follow on IG is there, talking about what I like, sharing stuff.
Could someone please create an action figures community?
I know Spotify and whatever are shit or something for many artists, but it is just more convenient for me. I used to download a fuckton of music (hell, I already reached the 10k downloads limit on Spotify), but I really prefer simply seaching for something, instantly find it, listening and the downloading it.
Since jazz and punk are the things I listen to the most, finding some albums can become a pain in the ass.
But sure, I will pirate anything that is not on Spotify.
The last argument I had on Reddit was with an idiot that didn’t understand why some Subreddits were actually “needed” for some people. Of course, if you only consume memes, that’s what you will get from the Internet.
I really liked Richard Brody’s take on the film https://www.newyorker.com/culture/the-front-row/in-wes-andersons-asteroid-city-the-artist-is-present
I think you have see a little bit more of Anderson to grasp some of the common themes with him. Overall, is not that complicated: just a story within a story, going meta on a very Wes Anderson way.
Thanks! Sorting by top day seems the best option for now.
As someone that LOVES Battlefield 2 and Bad Company 2, this looks amazing. I’m totally gonna buy it.
I don’t know its budget but I just love Songs from the Second Floor. I’m yet to see the trilogy but it is a masterclass in weird and beautiful.
Oh boy, you want grim and dark?
The Leftovers, Handmaid’s Tale, Six Feet Under (but also a very cathartic show), Dark, as someone else said, True Detective S1, The Missing (UK show).
Thanks! Yep, NECA turtles :)
The next day was the day I started running, I mean, as a sport. I still did some stupid things for the next years and even recently but it was the beginning of my journey to mental health and peace of mind. Today I am at peace with myself. Just focus on the things you love. If you think you have nothing, remember what makes you laugh, what you used to enjoy, what would you like doing again. Or maybe just try finding new things. But actually try.
