Yeah, I’ve also had doctors shame me for the issue too. It pisses me off because people leave shit untreated over this type of thing. Doctors are there to do an impartial job. They should keep their stupid personal opinions to themselves.
I tried to go to lemmy.world in the browser and got a 502 gateway error. I think they’re getting clobbered.
Just you… wefwef front end is snappy and fine for me. Works great on 14 pro.
The backend is a different story though. It is getting clobbered and you may be experiencing rate limiting or just backend failures generally.
I see lemmy comes as a docker image? Do you run the DB and backend on the same box?

Nope, I’m just a fan. What’s the issue with wefwef? Mlem sucks. Memmy is not bad, but wefwef pretty much replaces Apollo for me, so I’m happy with it.
My biggest complaint at this point is the backend. I’ve signed up for a couple lemmy instances at this point and both are having issues with scaling.
