Why would you say it’s a shitty messenger though? As far as privacy goes, they haven’t ever complied with authorities for takedowns etc and I think for many countries its so useful in terms of protest organization like in HK. Not to mention the polish. No need to subscribe to Telegram Premium either its kinda just a way to support server costs.

Slightly off topic, you know how whenever a post vaguely related to the northern lights comes up… every. single. time. The top comment chain will be that fucking simpsons reference. It’s lame and annoying at this point but that joke has been going on for far too long. Just a minor pet peeve with the Reddit community.

I mean I get it you’re unhappy and making fun of my username(low hanging fruit really) but dude at least perplexity and the other wrappers have an about page which tells you the people behind the project. Whereas, Forefront provides 5 free requests to Claude+ and GPT-4 which is by far the most generous of all these wrappers, not to mention the upload feature barely works half the time which makes me feel like theres some data collection going on.

I like Forefront really but it’s just too suspicious. A little too good to be true. I’m sure we all heard the saying if the product is free, you’re the product.

Been using TorGuard for 2 years. My only complaint is that there was this once they insisted it was a client side issue for one of the servers in my home country. I was so pissed off because it was slow and disconnecting all the time and only on that server.

Switched to Mullvad and loved it until port forwarding was removed… but now I’m back to TorGuard reluctantly. The customer support didn’t want to accept the possibility that their servers were going through some issues… didn’t even bother to check just because the server was online so it had to be client side but ever other server worked perfectly.

I feel like the humor posts are sometimes harmful even. 90% of those memes are referencing sites that have been down for years and torrent software thats outdated

Just a crazy thought. Have you watched WWDC? The new development tools for conversion to native metal is so exciting. I was just thinking that I would totally buy a hypothetical M1 steam deck passively cooled huge battery. That’s s just a dream though haha.
