So I tried to follow myself from @musicmatze@musicmatze@mastodon.technology here, but I somehow need to approve the follow request on the lemmy side… but I don’t see how I can do this…

Lemmy doesn’t support user following, you can only follow lemmy communities.
Would be a great feature to add one day!
It’ll be wayyy down the line, we want to get community-following solid first.

Yeah, we don’t have any of the mechanisms set up for user following activitypub-wise.
