Last I heard, ISP raise the speed for speed test sites/services. Which is why netflix had to create their own speed test service which uses servers that also serves its content from.
so is this really based realistic statistics??
I haven’t use speed test for quite a while but the speed results and reality were vastly different
Probably not, theres thousands of speed-test sites so keeping an up-to-date list would be quite an effort. I guess there could be companys selling those lists to multiple providers…
Maybe they rate limit older tcp connection or packets from the same host ip over time.
