Today I found out my classmate who is from and goes to sometimes South Korea has a dad who is a professor in Asian history and writes anti-communist quora posts. It seems I go to one of the most petty-bourgeois public high schools around.

I swear quora has the worst bad faith commenters, even more than Reddit.

She was researching for a project about a Cold War era president (we had president projects for Presidents’ Day) and I noticed something about fighting the communist dictatorship or something on the quora, so I suggested that quora wasn’t a very good source, but then they said it was their dad’s quora, so I shut up, not feeling like trying to discredit someone’s professor parent.
