Fediverse is a portmanteau of “federation” and “universe”. It is a common, informal name for a federation of social network servers whose main purpose is microblogging, the sharing of short, public messages.
A thought about sincerity:
If this article’s thesis is: “Love each other. Don’t get cynical. Don’t lose joy”… (the last paragraph)
then maybe the article’s title (and body) should feel uplifting and visionary, instead of sarcastic and fuming.
… then it would transcend its own rage.
