idgi. I thought they were all so brainwashed that they cried nonstop for a month straight or whatever. Now they’re telling me they love it when their leaders die?

Nah nah, they were totally forced to cry, under the penalty of being shot with a flak cannon. Trust me!

South Koreans crying after losing to Brazil in WC: so sad 😢

North Koreans crying after losing to Brazil in WC: it’s because they are going to get killed there!

The enemy are both mindless slaves that must be eliminated, but also ardent liberal freedom fighters at the same time.

When was the last adequately reasonable president? Nixon. Every one since then has been a psychopathic tool.

My praise wasn’t shining, but if he was shit he was FDR flavored shit. He doesn’t deserve the reputation he’s usually given. He was the last president independent of the CIA and was second to only FDR and JFK, if he lived long enough. He was the guy who established positive relations with China. He also gave us the EPA and OSHA. He’s the reason the US isn’t dusted with lead.

He’s well known for MAD, but the point of MAD was to de-esculate the cold war and improve relations with the USSR by not pursuing second strike and first strike capabilities. The point of MAD was to not try and win a Nuclear war. In that vein he did the most of any president in reducing cold war tensions and establishing sane international policy.

So yeah, he was bourgeois, but he was also one of our best presidents who’s accomplishments shouldn’t be lumped together with the likes of LBJ or Truman.
