It’s getting quieter lately, the main point of contention was for the steam the 30% markup on games while Epic was supposed to have less of it, and for Epic the exclusives which were sometimes really shameless like buying out already crowdfunded games from kickstarter. Both things went ultimately for the steam - there are less exlusives now and the markups are really funny - Epic was supposed to have less markup for developers, not the customers, which idk if it’s even true and nerds failed to notice the difference, which led to a lot of butthurt when games at Epic are actually on average more expensive than on Steam. There are also the freebies at Epic, but honestly they are 90% complete trash not even worth the few click to get it.
