Same thing happens every year. The crops are burned in neighbouring districts and gets trapped in the cities. They need to find another way to not burn the crops instead.
That is an important factor but even without it the air in Delhi is extremely polluted. The smog from slash and burn only makes it apparent to the naked eye.
It’s such a disaster it really rips the soul to look into it. The suicide rate for farmers is so high and for nothing.
