    So they’ll cave in the next year. This is just bargaining. NATO wants nukes in Finland, NATO gets nukes in Finland.

      There’s a good chance there won’t be a NATO by next year. Also, what exactly stops Russia from doing to Finland what they’re currently doing to Ukraine right now if Finland gets serious about joining NATO and putting nukes on its territory.

        Lack of resources. The SMO is already tasking enough, now you want a two-front war? If that happens - St. Petersburg gets flattened.

          Russia has dedicated a small fraction of its military resources Russia has available to it. Not really sure how you imagine St. Petersburg gets flattened.
