It’s cool how registering to vote just puts you on a bunch of spam lists without your consent. I’ve never signed up for any of them voluntarily but as soon as I registered back in 2016 (as an independent, by the way) it was just a deluge of “hey it’s the ineffectual controlled opposition party here, can we have some money? you don’t want the RePuBLiCaNs to win, do you?”

and don’t get me started on the texts. in fact I just got one this morning from bernie sanders lol. every one of these people can fuck off forever
