Write to Congress in Support of a More Inclusive Equality Act

The power to make the Equality Act more inclusive lies in the hands of Congress. We need people across the USA to speak up and reach out to their congressional representatives and ask that they support a more inclusive bill!

The Equality Bill is in US Congress right now, and threatens to leave out aromantic, asexual, pansexual, and other groups of people from protections against descrimination. While there is awareness that these groups of people would benefit, the actual language of the bill only includes “homosexual, heterosexual, and bisexual” as their definition of sexual orientation.

A wonderful person created a template for people to use to send their support to their representatives (and includes on the website a tool to find said rep) so in honor of AroSpecAwarenessWeek, raise awareness to this issue!

A place for LGBTQ+ people and allies to discuss interests, our lives, and relevant issues.
