See pun is only a letter away from fun. So you can naturally replace f in funny with punny. So I’m saying your naturally funny but using punny since you make puns.
I believe there may have been a misunderstanding. I could locate the pun within your statement (“Just naturally punny are we?”), but not within mine (“it sounds very nice to me for some reason”). If you would be so kind, please reveal to me the location of the pun within the latter statement.
In response to your previous email I think I can shed some light on the confusion.
In your original message sent on 29th September at approx 11pm you mentioned you thought Japanese sounded nice to you (see below);
“it sounds very nice to me for some reason”
In this message you used italics on the word sound which led me to assume you’d made a pun on sound and the sound of spoken language respectively.
This assumption was based on your prior affiliation for puns and if this was incorrect I apologise.
I believe now you were literal when referring to the sound of the language and this disconnect of percieved intent from myself has created confusion around your pun usage.
I hope that has cleared everything up.
