I don’t get it. Every politician says something to that effect. The problems begin when their approach to achieving that goal is revealed.

Doctors:patients ratio!? Surely with the pesky Soviets out the way the top spot went straight to the USA? What? That’s Cuba? And more than ten ex-Soviet states including the Russian Federation, plus the DPRK still score better than the USA? Damn those communists know how to make and leave a legacy. Looks like they take Stalin’s insight seriously, unlike western politicians.

Yes, but those doctors were FORCED to care for the patients and were ARTIFICIALLY COERCED instead of being naturally motivated by the free market to help people. Nevermind that modern doctors and especially nurses are constantly overworked and understaffed and the only thing that decides whether or not they can help somebody are the whims of private insurance companies.

No, as gleefully as Western politicians lie and co-opt progressive rhetoric to farm votes, even they do not dare to say something half this based. They just gesture vaguely at “the economy”, “the American people”, “getting back on our feet”, “challenges for us all.” They would NEVER directly invoke the image of homelessness, or use a word like “exploitation.”

And, as Muad’s comment clearly shows, talk is talk but Stalin actually walked that walk, as opposed to most.

My only point was talk is talk. No comment on Stalin. It’s just not surprising to hear that rhetoric.

Trump promised universal healthcare at one point.

Also I confess I didn’t see this was the lemmygrad bubble. Oops.

Fair, I guess to me the real surprise is when someone follows through with it, which of course should just be the standard.

Careful, Lemmygrad will turn you into Russian bot with the quickness 😈

Xi Jinping “Governance of China” might interest you. It’s a compilation of his political speeches that yes, does include all of his political promises and the course of party. When i read it at first, it read entirely like the usual political speeches i hear in Poland and you undoubtedly also hear wherever you live (though as KiG V2 noticed in above post, more concrete and specific).

But then i noticed that except the improvement of relations with United States (for rather obvious reasons), everything he promised was, after 8 years at the moment, either already delivered or in work with noticeable progress.

It’s not that all politicians lie. It’s politicians in capitalist countries that nearly always lies on basic issues because they do serve the capitalist class and not the working class.

Imagine what would they promises look if they were honest: “we are gonna fuck you up with austerity, cut your healthcare even more, get tax cuts for the rich, increase the military budget and invade yet anouther country, but don’t worry, the billionaires wealth will increase faster than ever and it will make it worth it”.

Also I confess I didn’t see this was the lemmygrad bubble. Oops.

You might try to stay awhile and read, you might get surprised. How do you think everyone here came to be here?

But did you consider how terrible the approach is of making sure women are educated at the same rates as men???

        but at what cost!!!

You want me to source my reply to a “the libs hate this” meme?

You all don’t understand. It’s not about users being not educated enough on Stalin, or brainwashed, or whatever you decided. This group is just obnoxious. I hate capitalism. It’s a criminal system. But oh my God shut up this comment was days ago who would even read if I did source right now?

Why are you posting shit hostile to the community without sources? You can dunk on us harder if you provided some sources and tell us how wrong we are. This meme can fall flat if bourgeoisie politicians also were encouraged to stay longer in tenure after pretending to want to leave their position.

We appreciate people being scholarly here. At the very least I’d be happy to read your responses. We care about the truth to build a better future. That is why we are communists.
