Ukraine’s state-run energy operator warned Saturday that “there are risks of hydrogen leakage and sputtering of radioactive substances” from the country’s Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant as shelling in the Russian-occupied area continues, despite international pleas for a ceasefire.

“As a result of periodic shelling, the infrastructure of the station has been damaged,” Energoatom said in a statement, cautioning that “the fire hazard is high” and that the plant “operates with the risk of violating radiation and fire safety standards.”

You’re unable to answer because the whole idea is fundamentally illogical. The fact is that Russia controls the power plan, and nobody is disputing that. Given this fact, you have to explain to us what reason Russia would have for shelling this plant that’s producing electricity for Donbas which they also control.

IAEA will surely report on who is doing the shelling, which is pretty obvious already to anyone who has even a couple of brain cells to bang together.

Ok, so if you accept that Russia controls the plant then you understand that the rest of your claims are absurd. Or at least you would understand that if you had any capacity for rational thought.

It’s absurd to claim that Russia would shell a power plant they control and have personnel at. The fact that you don’t understand why this claim is absurd shows that you’re incapable of rational thought.

There is nothing absurd about the claim that Ukraine is shelling the plant that Russia took from them. It’s certainly far less absurd than the idea that Russia is shelling themselves. The fact that you see these as equally plausible scenarios shows just how far gone you are.
