I actually wouldn’t really mind a teacher taking a switch or a ruler to their hand, so long as they don’t take it too far. I grew up with it and honestly, a teacher with a thunderous voice yelling at you was way scarier.

Spanking though? I don’t want a teacher touching kids’ butts in any context.
