    It’s worrying to see an increase of ‘marxists are transphobic!!’ posts because I am yet to see an anti-trans marxist. It feels like some people are deliberately stirring up shit.

        Always going to be some shitheads. I’ve not seen any since I got off Twitter myself a few years ago. Ideally, if we do anything with this information, it’s to dissociate with these bad elements that may have been hiding in plain sight or skirting by.

      There are lots of conservative armchair communists online, not so much irl. But the online ones create the public impression that all marxists are transphobic, anti-feminist, and racist and this very powerfully sticks in the minds of anarchists, including people I’ve known irl.

          I think that might be what it evolves to, in the end. But imo most current patsocs (even Maupin and Haz) are just useful idiots who don’t see the connection even when people are drawing big red circles around it for them. They think (deep in the part of their brain they use to justify their worldview to themselves) that reading Lenin makes them immune to propaganda.

      I just started seeing it flood into my timeline around the same time the cannibal “anarchist” that abuses everyone in their circle started asking for a bail fund. Can’t help but wonder if these things are related and intentional to promote the beef between our communities. It’s all nonsense and I called out to my locals to not entertain it, it’ll blow away within a week if we let it. Anyone with sense and/or firsthand experience in Marxist circles knows transphobia doesn’t fly in the majority.
