Fascism/authoritarianism is whenever my needs and wants has to make the slightest of way for the trillions of other lifeforms on this planet. Leftism is when I am allowed, I mean humanity is allowed (but mostly me me me come first of course) to indulge and on whatever I want with zero consequence and consideration as if you are the god king of this world.
