One more reason to use Lemmy
That’s a CloudFlare site. Use this link instead:
What’s wrong with cloudflare?
CloudFlare is a corporate abuser of privacy and net neutrality who has centralized over 10% of the web in an exclusive walled-garden that treats legit Tor users with hostility. CloudFlare is also a MitM that sees all traffic traversing their servers including the plaintext within HTTPS tunnels (usernames, passwords, etc).
Is there any alternative for ddos prevention?
I’m not endorsing these, but I know of:
- perimeterX
- impurva incapsula
- netlify
I think incapsula mistreats Tor users, and Netlify feeds Amazon, so maybe look into perimeterX and equalit.ie.
