To be fair, Lemmy.ml is nothing but constant struggle sessions and conflict, so there’s far more arguing there.
It’s been very very very funny to see people on instances long defederated from lemmygrad and hexbear act like lemmy.ml are the evilest tankies.
I think it’s because grad and hexbear are defederated/blocked, so then .ml becomes the default target because at least they still see our posts.

That is just not true. It is true for lemmy.ml, but the latter happens to be just one instsnce of Lemmy. There are more of them. Imho lemmy.world tone is pretty much the same of Reddit’s, maybe even a bit less political.
