If we were talking about this in 2013 i’d definitely agree. But i think it’s pretty hard to deny that Ukraine definitely sucks more than Russia at this point. I mean there are a lot of bad things about Russia but at least in Russia you don’t get dragged off the street into an unmarked van to be beat up and sent to the front lines after a week of what can barely be called training. At least Russia isn’t committing literal terrorist attacks, and doesn’t arm and train Jihadis in using drones and send their special forces to fight alongside them to destabilize and topple anti-imperialist governments in Africa and the Middle East. At least Russia hasn’t made it official state policy to glorify Nazi collaborators. I also think you’d be hard pressed to find instances of Russia bombing civilians just for the hell of it like Ukraine does, despite the fact that they have way more ammunition to spare and Ukraine doesn’t. It’s not Russia that declared its intention to “become a larger Israel” (Zelensky literally said that).

Yes Russia sucks when it comes to a bunch of things, but i think there’s no contest if we’re talking about who is worse.
