Full disclosure on Friday night my brother chill-left showed me this conversation and I believe it is worth sharing.

“Teia Rabishu” has been the top mod of antiwork since the massive scandal of a moderator appearing on Tucker Carlson who spoke about their part time job as a dogwalker. She appears not to understand the concept of the Overton window. Her defense of the decision to ban, “Platforms affiliated with the CCP, such as TikTok and Rednote, because China is a hostile foreign government and these platforms constitute information warfare.” despite the opposition of the moderators and users of the sub is suspicious, unethical, and totalitarian. In typical “dictator fashion”, her entire stance seems to be “china bad” and she constantly argues via logical fallacies. Not only this but, “Caledric” from the beginning of being a moderator for antiwork openly admits to working for US intelligence and expresses sympathy as well as agreement to their ideological framing and conclusions. “Teia” defends and supports “Caledric” as well as upholds the ideological anti-communism and red scare propaganda which led to this entire debacle.

This document and photos where leaked by u/chill-left before he was banned from the anti-work subreddit. He was a moderator dissenting within their internal communication discord. The supposed reason for his ban was calling for democratic elections to replace the head moderator of the antiwork subreddit. As well as disagreeing with “Teia Rabishu”.

Please share this with any interested individuals or parties, especially anyone associated with antiwork.

Just so everyone here knows. If Teia Rabishu is removed as topmod the subreddit will fall back into leftist control. They are the sole barrier to completely fixing that subreddit.

I won’t explain why I know this information or how it would be fixed but it would be quite drastic.

Just in case anyone here has the skillset to make that happen.

Caledric — Today at 7:05 PM Did you miss the part where I said I was fucking part of the US Intelligence network and had first hand knowledge of how they were using the platform, and their plans on how to manipulate people with it? You are exactly the type of apologist that they were seeking to create. Someone who will blindly defend them with whataboutisms and turn a very specific issue into a wide general issue.

Love how this dumbass can’t fathom “hostile to the US government doesn’t mean they’re hostile to me.” and “All governments try to influence people via the public sphere, I don’t give a shit the US does it, so why should I care China does?”

@chill-left My argument is that it’s got nothing to do with the state actually. If your argument is to ban TikTok because the Chinese may have access to information or make the algorithms favor them or something you also need to ban every American social media site including youtube and reddit.

Teia Rabishu — Today at 5:32 PM This is the standard tankie argument and it’s designed to ensure that nothing gets done, rather than operating in good faith.

chill-left — Today at 5:32 PM Dude you say everything you don’t like is tankie.

    Fucking taaaaannnkkkiiieeessa!!!

@chill-left What’s the deal with the “china is a hostile foreign government” thing? Hostile to who exactly? Do we seriously think China is a threat to American people in any way? They’re not even a threat to the US ruling class let alone average citizens.

Teia Rabishu — Today at 5:28 PM Yes, we do think they’re a threat to the average citizens. Believing that they have the people’s interests in mind is as foolish as believing the USSR had the people’s interests in mind.

Nerds the USSR and some-controversy are a threat to the average amerikkkan treatler

Military and its contractors like to feel cooler than they actually are. This guy bragging about being part of the intelligence community is not that different than wearing tacticool gear and pretending you’re John Wick.

I believe this guy was part of (un)intelligence work, but I don’t believe he’s as cool as he wants to appear. Just a random marine who was made to shitpost on forums for four years before he got out, propagandized the whole time about how scary China is.

Every person I talked to who works in “intelligence” tries to gloss over how they sat in an office chair twiddling their thumbs for 8 hours / day, 15 years, inside of a facility that doesn’t let you bring your personal devices inside.

Honestly the reason I’m against allowing Tik-Tok and Rednote posts on the sub is because China is well known to be one of the absolute worst countries as far as worker treatment and worker’s rights go. Also banning tik tok and rednote does not hurt the chinese workers in the slighest. A) Chinese workers have no access to Tik Tok, it is the international version of Rednote owned and used by the Chinese government to push out propaganda to the world as well as gather information. Rednote does the same thing just internally. Both are completely state run and used as a tool to suppress Chinese workers from getting information outside of what the government wants them to know.

everyone in rednote is a spy send by xi jinping guys xinternet

Unlike most American social media that ban you for saying “free Palestine”

They can’t even get their lies straight. Tiktok isn’t the international version of Rednote, it’s the international version of Douyin. Rednote is more like Instagram in the experience (except not a fucking cesspool)

Though, funny enough, TikTok just added an “Explore” page that looks just like RedNotes Explore page, which is the default page in the app. RedNote doesn’t have a “For You Page” equivalent.

i wonder if someone could basically take marxist theory and change the terminology around and have people actually get into it. I read this article that I think was from antiwork earlier and the author basically reinvented the idea of surplus value but called it something like “privatization of progress”. They’re reaching for it but man their brains are so fucking broken from years of anticommunist education and cold war and anti-china propaganda.

in addition to actively anticommunist brainworms, there is the more passive ignorance of marxism’s existence and what it claims to explain. it takes a person deliberately seeking out marxist theory to be exposed to it. there is no marxism floating around in the corporate media zeitgeist for people to just casually understand. the person you mentioned might be receptive

I joined the anti work discord a few years ago and left almost immediately because I was convinced they were a fed op. Granted I dont recognize these people so I can’t say that these are the same mods I was arguing with, and my other comrades discouraged me from taking that view so I just dropped it. That was a few years ago and I’m a bit more even keeled in my interactions these days. I can’t say for sure if I was right but the vibes were terrible. So like, I’m not sure if this qualifies either, but I’m not nor would i be surprised.

Although saying that a reddit sub is infiltrated by feds is like saying a 5 year old’s birthday party is infiltrated by kindergarteners. Its like, wtf did you expect?
