This has been the end goal of the entire US establishment the entire time, it isn’t Trump’s plan like he actually gives a fuck about what happens in Palestine. this is no different then what was already happening, which was no different in terms of policy than its been for decades.Liberals desperately need to exceptionalize Trump. All the talk of the “MAGA Republicans” as if they aren’t just Republicans. For libs it has to be exceptional. They want to go back to something that never actually existed just as much as the fascists at this point. Fash want some combination of 50’s Americana, 30’s Germany, and the Roman Empire, and libs just want 90’s End of History where both parties could show some civility and enact welfare cuts and build the modern Jim Crow.

His actions are just a continuation of existing US policy, but he probably does also actually have a vested personal interest there because his family’s involved in the real estate landgrabs that form the cynical capitalist share of the motivation for the genocide.

Words cannot describe how much I loathe this sort of slimy behaviour from American liberals. They will ignore a problem while the democrats are in power, but the instant the republicans are in power it becomes smug issue #1 for them, their goldfish brains conveniently forgetting that their beloved administration was doing this as well.
There’s just something so unspeakably vile about it. The conservatives are full on fascists, but I don’t despise them the way I despise liberals. They are more like a dangerous animal that needs to be dealt with. Liberals though, their ability to ignore everything about reality and turn it into their team sport, except one where they get off on losing and think that makes them morally superior to others is just so foul.
