idiot 58 year old refuses to have standard procedure performed during the birth of her last impregnation with her last frozen frozen embryo, and travels somewhere with less ethics.

she wants her womb despite the serious complications of keeping it, and despite the fact she wont need it ever again.

      somewhere with less ethics

Hysterectomy is the standard procedure, but obviously isn’t performed if the patient doesn’t want it (which in this case is idiotic, but removing organs without consent is never allowed). The reason she flew abroad was not that her doctors would force her to undergo hysterectomy (which would be against medical ethics), but simply that they had less experience in placenta accreta surgery. Many patients that suffer this complication aren’t in such a ridiculous situation, and keeping their womb is an interesting option for them, it is routinely offered in mild cases. Since placenta accreta is very common in China, there are many doctors there who are specialized in it, that’s all.

She is 58 and the dad is 75, what kind of life can they offer this child? I’m worried that I will die when my child is in his 40ies because I was over 40 when he was born, but this guy …

I didn’t even see that. So they’re also at elevated risk of complications and birth defects. Also this:

Anna loves the feeling of being pregnant.

This is messed up and incredibly selfish.

The funny part about this one unethical instance is that tens of thousands of Chinese mothers flock every year to give birth in other countries because they are afraid of the terrible conditions in China (in addition to trying to get their Child a different nationality than Chinese).

Was it difficult to figure out how to give birth in the U.S.?
No. Hsuan typed in the phrases “going to the U.S.” and “giving birth to babies” into China’s Baidu search engine and millions of results popped up.
Many agencies offer to arrange every aspect of a mother’s trip. Eventually she settled on an agency in Shanghai called Meijiabei, or Good American Baby.

No, I’m literally posting about a procedure that has high success rate in China while being questionable in Europe. The fact that this needs to be chewed up for you is phenomenal.
