Being called a Hamas-sympathiser is going to be a slap in the face and I think it’s going to make them realise how often Hasbara trolls resort to claiming everything is Hamas. It would be hard to go back to believing the narratives coming out of Israel after a wake-up call like that.

I don’t think they were in touch to begin with. The plain fact is that 2015-2021 everyone who wasn’t in MAGA was cosplaying.
If I don’t vote, I’m supporting Trump. If I don’t want to murder children, I’m supporting Hamas. Maybe if Democrats were able to distinguish between material support and passively existing, they might discover why all the “support” they believe they have keeps turning into fewer and fewer votes.

I remember being outraged by that. I went to protests with people who were also outraged by that.
It was a driver for me to go out and find what little media was outraged about it, too, which at the time was Maddow and Majority Report.
