A part of me is disgusted with myself that my first response to news of a new atrocity in Ukraine is that it’s probably a false flag, but once again it’s looking that way. I’m expected to believe that Russia not only shot a cruise missile at a random train carrying refugees, but that they shot a Soviet era munition that’s only used by Ukraine? And this is not even a week after the Bucha massacre which they’re also being blamed for? I guess Ukraine is just going to keep killing their own civilians until Nato gets involved.
It´s a shitshow. Like, Russia has a plan to follow. Why would they start killing random civilians ( in the thousands if you believe all the statements)?
I too struggle with this. I don’t want to insult possible thousands of dead civilians but I also don’t want to blindly follow whatever the Western media report about this.
It makes sense if you approach it from the average western Joe’s viewpoint: “Putin is basically a Bond movie villain, they do this kinda stuff”. Doesn’t even have to be full-blown anti-Russian racism (you know the type). Hell, I’ve seen a conspiracy theory floating around that “Putin is terminally ill and wants to go out with a bang”. That is the level of discussion we are dealing with here.
Putin must harvest increasing amounts of adrenochrome to stave off death from old age—69,420 years old to be precise. As a specter of evil he has haunted history, consuming for his survival. Stalin? Putin. Hong Xiuquan? Putin. General Sherman? Putin. Robespierre? Putin. Cortés? Putin. Genghis Khan? Putin. Cain? Putin. Ectecetra, all the way back to the first Denisovan that invented proto-Afro-Altaic in order to give commands to death squads that genocided Homo floresiensis.
Isn’t Sherman actually quite popular in the USA?
Ironically the “Putin is dying” people are the same ones who rabidly rebut any claim that Joe Biden has pudding for brains and is obviously sundowning.
At least the state media of my home country are sort of toning down the Russia blaming of these attack for the moment. They report it as that they do not know yet where these missles came from. It’s something I guess.
