Touch print, you dork. Political orientation is not some fashion choice where you pick out a style that you use to express your unique identity.

Politics is life-or-death. It doesn’t matter wtf labels you use or what string of identifiers you use - either you are a radical or you are a reactionary, either you are a materialist or you are an idealist, either you fight with and organize the masses or you don’t. Either you enact your politics in the real world or you have yourself a Twitter bio.

Don’t get me wrong, I care deeply about the environment and queer liberation and decolonization etc. and I will fight for these things. But so should any socialist, and especially any self-respecting (and masses-respecting) ML.

What’s good about this bizarre, extremely-western, always-online phenomenon is that if it becomes a diversion for reactionaries then it’s great and I think we should encourage it because it creates divisions and infighting amongst reactionaries like this goof. But we must be on guard for this nonsense taking root in the radical left because it’s an absolute dead-end, where praxis goes to die. We need to push our comrades to look past this absurd charade and to avoid engaging in our own version of it.
