    I was pretty liberal as a kid but became conservative by the time I was able to vote. A few years of that pushed me towards libertarianism because I perceived it as being more consistent and less hateful than conservatism. As we crept towards 2016 I was leaning far more towards anarcho-capitalism, but watching Trump’s successes, along with a lifetime of arguments against liberals and leftists caused me to rethink my beliefs. By mid-late 2017 I was vaguely liberal as I began the process of shedding my hang-ups towards leftism, 2019 I was a self-proclaimed socialist that didn’t want to be associated with communism, but as I learned more history I decided that I was in fact a communist. I’ve identified as a Marxist-Leninist for about a year and a half now.

    It’s been quite the ride.
