I find it annoying how obsessed the page is worth returning to the top. Unlock my screen? Back to the top. Go back to the main page? Back to the top. It seems to have no position retention and feels very Web 1.0.

I was pretty liberal as a kid but became conservative by the time I was able to vote. A few years of that pushed me towards libertarianism because I perceived it as being more consistent and less hateful than conservatism. As we crept towards 2016 I was leaning far more towards anarcho-capitalism, but watching Trump’s successes, along with a lifetime of arguments against liberals and leftists caused me to rethink my beliefs. By mid-late 2017 I was vaguely liberal as I began the process of shedding my hang-ups towards leftism, 2019 I was a self-proclaimed socialist that didn’t want to be associated with communism, but as I learned more history I decided that I was in fact a communist. I’ve identified as a Marxist-Leninist for about a year and a half now.

It’s been quite the ride.
