Some people risk their lives to blow the whistle. Gary Webb sacrificed everything for exposing the CIA selling crack. Julian Assange is still in prison for publishing leaks against the US. And Andrew Fucking Chow, champion of the downtrodden, warrior for human rights!!!, risked nothing and reinforced the view his imperialist government already had.

When I’m a middle aged woman, if I brag about getting shitpost groups banned from a social media site, kindly shoot me. In the end Andrew’s words will be forgotten as so many dimestore propagandists who came before him who’s writing became pulp and person, merely worm food.

      Journalism is a polluted, worthless vocation in this day and age. Why I dropped my training and transitioned to another field; I saw how much State Dept. involvement was in it and knew that whatever ethics of journalism were written before would no longer apply-- and thus it lost its nobility, and any semblance of truth.

          Like no cap, they were teaching all these lofty ideals about “avoiding bias” and “investigative journalism” and all this shit like we lived at any point where the government didn’t control every outlet that paid enough to make a living.
