I mean what do you expect? You wouldn’t want to hurt his feelings. He’s just a baby, a sleazy narcissistic psycho baby.

When you surround yourself with sycophants, of course nobody will tell you when you fuck up. People who can’t accept criticism always end up in a bubble of unreality that’ll grow and grow until it pops.

Oh man, if word gets back to Trump that some of his advisors told CNN behind his back that they were stunned (in a bad way) by his debate performance, he’s going to completely lose his damned mind. It’ll push him into a massive paranoia complex. The screaming, the tantrums, the threats against his own team… They will be unreal.

So… Who wants to ping him on Twitter about this? 😈

Of course they did! This is very common behavior when trying to encourage children after a discouraging setback.

The words “I have concepts of a plan” are still ringing in my head. I cannot conceive of intentionally saying something so profoundly useless. I found that shocking, but I try to watch him speak as little as I can. They work with him every day and should not be shocked by this.

While multiple Trump allies described what happened, last night, as a missed opportunity, for the former President, they have since started downplaying the debate’s significance overall, arguing that it won’t shift his numbers, with voters, in states like Pennsylvania.

    They’re very likely correct.

Over the last 24 years, the first Presidential debate has moved polling numbers by barely 1.5 points. Polarization and calcification are a hell of a thing.

Not entirely unlike Jill Biden telling Joe he’d done a good job, when clearly the opposite had happened.
