Just FYI, this book seems dated AF. If you want to learn about the insurance industry, there are much better options. These things evolve very quickly. If you’re trying to become an adjuster, it’s probably worthless to waste your time on.

I don’t really have a social life now, but I do think it’s a bit of a red flag when you’re young and can’t say you have friends. I have no social life because my friends have kids and it’s like pulling teeth to schedule stuff.

Also, there is pretty strong evidence that social support enriches one’s life. Can you live an okay life without social support? Sure, but that gets harder as you age.
