Like every year for the past decade or so, my spouse is telling her family that I’m eating with my family. And I’m telling my family that we’re eating with her family. And I just stay home and avoid all the pomp and the whatsis.

And if artists can’t make money of their music anymore, we’ll really only get music from rich people who can afford the lessons, instruments, recording studio, production, etc. as an expensive hobby rather than a source of income.
