[from one of the games reviews]

Imagine a game set in a Discworld Universe that evolved to early 21st century. With writing quality, dry wit and poignant moments almost on par with legendary Terry Pratchett’s writings.

goddamnit i don’t even like tactics games but this makes me want to play it

The devs are brilliant. They’ve had a string of incredible games that don’t miss. I haven’t played tbw yet but one of their previous games, heat signature, is a masterpiece of sand box tactical fucking around to do the coolest shit possible. One time i did an assassination mission by teleporting past all the guards, blowing out the window with a shotgun, and ejecting everyone in to space. Then the teleporters quirk kicked in - after a few seconds it returned you to your point of origin, so i was safely back inside the ship while the target and their guards floated through the deep black.

Heat sig is such an awesome game, one of the rare cases where I just got immediately hooked the moment I saw the trailer

        A few funny broken strats:
Mission targets are always swappable even when not on the ship so you can do assassinations by flying next to a ship, stepping out of your pod into space, and then just swap places with your target (also works for rescue and capture, but you need to then quickly grab the target with your pod)

Hijacking another ship is pretty goofy, since you can actually use the guns, i.e. if you’re doing a hard mission you can just hijack an easier allied ship and blast down your target or even detach rooms for stealing missions etc

Traps are broken as hell, basically you can throw a trap, teleport it back to you and then deploy it. It’ll keep the momentum it had while being thrown so you can basically just throw active traps (hint: use glitch traps)

I’ve enjoyed world news a lot up to and including the end of history, but each day the media is getting progressively more extreme in it’s representation of the IDF. At this point the scales have been tipped all the way to “cartoonishly evil” by claiming they commit “ethnic cleansing” (despite Palestinian being an ideology and not an ethnicity) and then also throwing “literal fascists” over “religious right”.

If there was a bit more restraint, I wouldn’t even be making this post. At this point, just throw armbands on the IDF and put little windmills on them.

by claiming they commit “ethnic cleansing”

The thing that is actually happening is unacceptable for the treatbrain to accept as reality! point-and-laugh-1point-and-laugh-2

to be clear, it’s not a transcription of the OP, but used it as a base and substituted the game words for current event words

original is confessing “i have no media literacy” “why are these curtains blue? evil curtains need to be red with a white circle around a swastika or i can’t understand the parallels being insinuated”

The guy is just the normal game brain: “I hate modern politics” but when you look at the posts this moron make is always about THE EVIL WOKE CULTURE KILLING GAMES.
