I wonder how true that is. On one hand maybe since, as Paxton wrote in his book, fascists are indeed a sword with at least slippery handle and often with no handle just second blade, but on the other it might be just part of the pivot away and wash hands stage of the “alliance/partnership” with USA that also happens sooner or later.
