The key conclusion here is that most Americans have not firmly decided about the merits of a U.S.-enforced no-fly zone. That conclusion no doubt holds true for most, if not all, of the other policy proposals included in the poll.
They should do a poll about nuclear war.
If a random sample of US persons support it, then, it must be time.
👎 🤔 👍 ❓
Gen X has been waiting for it all their lives, why delay any longer?
Summary for people who want the basics of what this says, but don’t have the time or will to read it.
YouGov put out a series of polls asking Americans if they support the “No-fly zone over Ukraine”, every time they ran the poll they found around 40% in favour of it, with the opposition being a smaller percentile, between 20% and 30%.
Even with the explanation of what a “No-fly zone” would entail - the shooting down of Russian military aircraft - the vote was 42% in favour and 33% opposing. When they didn’t include the explanation, the only change was 28% opposed, the same amount was in favour.
Nearly three in 10 of those who say that enforcing a no-fly zone is a good idea also say that they oppose the US shooting down Russian military planes flying over Ukraine; 13% of those who call enforcing a no-fly zone a bad idea support the US shooting down Russian planes.

Let’s see if I understand this:
- Some people that DO want a “we’ll shoot down trespassers” zone DOESN’T want the trespassers shot down.
- Some people that DON’T want a “we’ll shoot down trespassers” zone DO want the trespassers shot down.
Sorry, I don’t understand how their minds work.
