Japanese assassinations: The general public at large thinks it’s a good thing and the shooter is celebrated as a folk hero.
“read project 2025! they are going to make the handmaids tale real!”
“Noooo!! Do not hurt him!”
We’ll be hurting him at the ballot box!
Battle box, Jack
Apparently we aren’t allowed to call it that anymore cause it might incite people to behave like Republicans
Listen, Jack – in America, we resolve our differences at the battle box
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:

A nationwide poll last month found that 10 percent of those surveyed said the “use of force is justified to prevent Donald Trump from becoming president.”

Probably.
They’re called assassinations bc after the first one democrats and Republicans went ass to ass
Ass-ass a nation

Yamagami not only succeeded but survived too
that’s because the american one was adventurism while the other one wasn’t. the Japanese assassination had wide popular support and led to lasting reform, which proves that the action was not adventurism at all. but with the attempted assassination on trump, nothing will fundamentally change.
Nah, the Abe assassination was still adventurism. It was still a single person acting alone and not as part of any organization. It’s a fortunate turn of events that the action ended up being appreciated enough that some reform happened as a result, but that was not a predictable outcome. In fact, the would-be Trump assassin had reason to believe he would have had a ton of popular support had he succeeded, given the Trump=Hitler and must be stopped at any cost rhetoric (if not action) by liberals. Both of them were definitely adventurisms.
So what I’m hearing is we need to do more adventurism just in case after the fact it turns out not to have been adventurism.
Im p sure the Japanese were also largely the same reaction were getting here

I don’t think trump would be too different tbh. The media can crow all they want, a ton of people hate his guts enough to not be mad if he died.
Though some subset of trump supporters would probably try to start a civil war if he died, and it didn’t seem like Abe had a lot of fans that diehard
I remember vividly JP people on a language sharing site i frequent were like “Oh no shinzo abe :((((” when he died
Cucked nation like burgerland then
Its even worse theyre cucked by burgerland 😭
Did people actually celebrate him or was that all optimistic westerners
He’s got fans from what I gather
He got owned with a tweaker zip gun in a country that doesn’t even have a meth problem.
Source on that about japanese reactions to the abe killing?

Sorry for the source, but I had seen all the support he got in prison from hexbear posts.
