    …failure to send weapons…

An interesting way to put it when in reality they just don’t have shit. Of course, one would have to admit that the reason is de-industrialization, which in turn puts into question capitalism. On the other hand, drinking your own koolaid too much is going to convince you that the “Asiatic hordes” are incapable of outproducing “the Garden”. Anyway… Fuck the west

I mean technically it’s a failure to send weapons when you don’t have weapons to send. This also highlights that the west is the only reason this war is still going. Every single scumbag lib who supported this war and ensured it went this long has blood on their hands.

    • drinking your own koolaid too much is going to convince you that the “Asiatic hordes” are incapable of outproducing “the Garden”

To think there was a time when I thought the West has rid itself of its racist past. It was all optics. Racism isn’t only harmful to the victim but also the racist can blind themselves to reality.

I wish we could turn back time, to the good old days…

“Russia is heading for an outright defeat in Ukraine.” – Francis Fukuyama, March 10, 2022

The war in Ukraine is likely headed for a “devastating Russian defeat,” according to an expert on economic policy in the eastern European region.

The victory of colonialism, even in the farthest corners of the earth, is a defeat for us, and the victory of freedom anywhere is a victory for us. – Muhammad ibn Abd al-Karim al-Khattabi

Liberals (liberal establishment/media) have already started laying the groundwork for the upcoming narrative.

Ukraine lost because of Trump (despite the election taking place 7 months from now and despite the next president being inaugurated in January of next year).

And Ukraine lost because of “pro-Russian” elements in the EU, that is anti-NATO and anti-war people who don’t want to see taxpayer (working class) money be wasted on a corrupt country like Ukraine that never stood a chance anyway.

The narrative is that Ukraine was winning, that they could have won had it not been for the aforementioned people. Liberals/democrats blame Republicans for stopping the Ukraine aid (after 100+B sent) yet they don’t wonder how Biden and the MIC is able to greenlight billions to Israel without congress’ approval.

I hate liberals on an ideological level, but on a personal level I absolutely despise them, they disgust me. Them and their “We could have done ____, had it not been for ____.” Every time they get power they don’t know what to do with it, that’s why every time liberals “win” like WWI and after, fascists take power. That’s pretty much what happened in Ukraine during and after Euromaidan. Liberals know they are weak and pathetic, so they use fascists to do the things they know they can’t.

Thank you for listening to my TEDx talk.

That and “Ukraine actually won, because Putin didn’t achieve his goal of conquering the whole Ukraine and genociding all Ukrainians, as he had planned to do.” Because we all know Putin controls a country of 140 million people using his mind powers, but he’s also sick and about to die from cancer.

There has to be cognitive dissonance. I really do believe the liberal media keeps people in a state of cognitive dissonance on purpose to prevent them from reasoning. And I don’t believe for a second that the liberal pundits and politicians actually believe what they are saying. They wouldn’t be where they are if they were that dumb.

Indeed, setting arbitrary goals for Russia and then saying Russia didn’t achieve them has been a really effective cope. My fav part is that when you ask people to point where Russia set these goals they tell you that you can’t trust what Russia says because they’re lying. 🙃

Haha yes. Meanwhile Zelenskyy said victory for Ukraine is taking back Crimea, but they will keep changing the victory conditions.

That’s what liberals do, they try to control the narrative to try to control reality, because they are idealists. I’m glad to see most of the world rejecting their narrative, such as African countries. Then the liberals cry how the Chinese and Russians are “bribing” the Africans by building hospitals, schools and infrastructure. Yet they didn’t think of “bribing” African countries the same way, but continued trying to exploit them.

My expectation is that there’s likely going to be a rump Ukraine consisting of the western part that’s most nationalist. Russia will likely insist it stays demilitarized, and will put a puppet regime there.

well it’s safe to say that it will be a shithole for the ukrainian people regardless of what happens. Whatever sovereignty they had, it’s gone.

With russia, ukraine will be flooded with russian investment, i have no clue what happens with ukrainian debt owed to the IMF/US/etc, might cause the west to invade Ukraine afterwards!

With the US, ukraine will be flooded with US and EU investment, on top of having a huge debt for the weapons and finance supplied by the IMF/US/etc…

Losing after being hyped up as the bulwark of western civilization for 2 years. If I bought into the hype i would feel so betrayed. No doubt a stabbed in the back myth will develop.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Just ask a Ukrainian soldier if he still believes the West will stand by Kyiv “for as long as it takes.” That pledge rings hollow when it’s been four weeks since your artillery unit last had a shell to fire, as one serviceman complained from the front lines.

When POLITICO asked Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba if he felt the West had left Ukraine to fight with one hand tied behind its back, his verdict was clear: “Yes, I do,” he said, in an interview in his office, an hour after another Russian mid-morning missile attack.

Moreover, Ukraine says it needs at least two dozen Patriot air-defense systems to protect troops on the front lines and to defend Kharkiv, the country’s biggest city after Kyiv, which has been under ferocious missile and artillery attack for weeks.

Oleksandr Syrskyi, commander in chief of the armed forces, has warned that the situation on Ukraine’s eastern front has “significantly deteriorated in recent days.” As Zelenskyy himself put it elsewhere, “We are trying to find some way not to retreat.”

But he warned that Ukraine is trapped in a vicious cycle: The weapons it needs are withheld or delayed; then Western allies complain that Kyiv is on the retreat, making it less likely they’ll send more aid in future.

In an interview with POLITICO, Yermak, the powerful Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, offered an important — and to outsiders perhaps surprising — reason for not launching a mass mobilization: such a call-up wouldn’t have the backing of the people.
