Game theory would like a word.

Considering the smallest non-fragmented group has resulted in the current 2-party system in most western countries, and results in tribalistic xenophobia, I’m quite content stating democracy is not the egalitarianism it is purported to be.

And I quite resent the insinuation I’m a lapdog.

First of all, many Western countries, unlike the US, have multi-party, parliamentary systems.

All Western countries (excluding Cuba, as I’m sure you do) are capitalist states with bourgeois democracies (that is when they’re not being overtly fascist). And you are very much correct: bourgeois democracies are not nearly as egalitarian as they purport to be, because they serve the capitalist class to the detriment of the working class.

If you want to dive deeper into game theory, I suggest Marxist economist and Greek ex-Finance Minister Yanis Varoufakis’ Game Theory: A critical text.
