Not that surprising with religious fundamentalists needing Israel to exist to bring about the apocalypse. Also, they buy lots of US military goods with the money the US gives them so it is basically a massive money laundering project. When I worked at Lockheed we had specific training thag we couldn’t do any business with anyone critical of Israel…

For the same reason the US puts up with Turkey. They’re a very valuable and strategic partner. And it’s politically dangerous to shit talk Israel, even when they do wrong.
It’s also because most Americans view the Palestinians as supporters of terrorism.
True. Though I’m not sure how one can look at the actions of Israel and not equate it to terror, or at least something equally brutal.
