    While I admire her for her concern towards others and society, I think that we need to accept some level of risk and keep our sanity.

    I had mild flu-like symptoms and nausea, so I did take daily antigen tests and after three tests my nose started bleeding.

    “Before the flight, Fotieo told CNN she took two PCR tests and about five rapid tests, all of which came back negative”

    This is asking too much to yourself. We, as a society, have accepted that we will accept the risk if you test negative. We don’t need perfection to be successful, we need most people to be reasonable in managing risk.

        That is a good idea. Maybe now that many of us have become more conscious about the possibility of infecting others this will also also be normal in many more places after the pandemic.

        In my home country (Mexico), having something like a flu was not considered a good reason to miss work or school. You had to pretty much be bedridden for absences to be justified. I then moved to the US for college and we were asked not to come to class if we were sick at all to avoid infecting others.
