The conversation in question:

“Hi, you must be Neslon! I can’t believe you’re finally here! I’m Bloom, your future teammate in the Resistance, by the way. I figured out we could spend some time together to check if we have a compatible vibe. You know, to build our dynamic duo. How does that sound to you?”

lmao love to build a dynamic duo in the “resistance” by just hanging out.

Why did Ubisoft think this was so good that they had to share it

When the shopkeeper hits you with “I’m sorry, but I cannot fulfill this request as it goes against OpenAI use policy”

I like the idea of NPCs being able to give dynamic answers to questions, but that’s only gonna work as a small detail to flesh out a fictional world. It would be nice if I could ask a guard in Skyrim for directions to some place and they’re able to respond, but I really don’t want my story to be written by generative AI

Plot twist: the character in this scene is an undercover cop and the dialogue is actually extremely realistic.

I know how to make LLM cards. My job really wants me to learn “AI” and so in my downtime around the office, I’ve been figuring out how to jailbreak and make character cards for various models. I’ve only been doing this for a few months, and decided to run a Shadowrun campaign completely text based with LLM card NPCs and holy shit are they so much better than this. And I’m just using publicly available models and cobbling together stuff with limited knowledge. Wild.
