it might technically violate rule 3, because there’s no way a community that’s pointedly against religion could stay respectful towards religious comrades.
So, for now it’s probably for the best to just wait, and see if anyone even uses that community.
A clarification should probably be made, because undoubtedly someone will misunderstand. If someone wanted to make an Atheist community, they would be free to do so as long as they follow rule three. But because antitheism goes further and is actively hostile towards religion, it’s bound to break the rules. We have these rules to keep Lemmygrad civil, and ensure that comrades won’t feel disenfranchised.
Why would it be? Marx was posttheist, which was interpreted in the USSR in as an antitheistic position. Believing the decline of religious influence is a good thing doesn’t mean attacking random religious people.
I’m an antitheist. I’m willing to stay civil until the moment someone with idealist epistemology tries to infringe on my liberty. I have no interest in taking orders from nor deferring to any fideist or other idealist
I see no issue with that, as many of us comrades are atheists, thank you demographics questionnaire, however, we must understand that we are not enemies with each other, we are all comrades, and our difference in belief or lack their of in a god, or religion or lack there of does not change that.
Marx called religion the opium of the masses. In my experience religion has often stood in the way of class consciousness. If there is a benevolent god safe gourding us there is less need to radically change the world.
This is of course not always true. I have comerads who are inspired by their religion.

So that means c/Atheism is ok as long as it doesn’t diss religious comrades?
