Obviously I mean vegan things which have non-vegan counterparts. E.g. frozen convinience food, cereals and so on. They always sell out super fast, but practically never get restocked. Why? There is clearly an extreme demand. I don’t get why they don’t produce and stock more.

Maybe stupid question but did you already ask in the store? I have a vegan ice cream that I buy regularly and which was sold-out most of the time. Whenever it was available I got like three or four containers. After another unsuccessful ‘hunt’ I just asked about it and after bringing it to their attention, they’ve increased the automatic re-stock quantity. It’s still not available all the time but definitely more often than before.

I don’t speak the local language and yearn to leave this country, but I lived in multiple countries in multiple places with access to different stores and it’s always the case. :/

I have a similar problem at my local grocery stores. I find it beyond amusing that billion dollar corporations cannot track their own inventory well enough to reorder when items sell quickly. When i have asked - the employees always say that it is handled at corporate and there really isn’t anything they can do! But they will ask anyway! 🤷

I have seen a similar situation at clothing stores that stock T-shirts. The large and xlarge are always out of stock. So i order online and have it delivered. But then i think - why pay a lease for a store that almost never has certain sizes in stock?!? The store is a waste of retail space for the customer that is the median size! Can’t the company provide more of certain sizes? Sure would love to hear from a retail manager.
