So like the title says, I just want to appreciate how good ubuntu+xfce (xubuntu) is. I love the simplicity & how lightweight this distro. There’s no bloat on minimal install, to the point I need to install the essential tools like task manager, music player, image viewer & xarchiver myself lol.

Nvidia driver installed without any problem, I can switch from on demand & performance mode flawlesly using nvidia x server. I also can make L2TP vpn working on xubuntu, dunno why but I’m having problem when using it on debian & win 11.

I’ll try using xubuntu as my daily driver. Wish I’ll never facing any problem in the future, especially about compatibility with ms.office.

Well, compatibility with the MS office suite on Linux is pretty terrible in my experience. But I’ve used libreoffice for years with zero issues.

Yeah I’m quite worried about that, because currently I’m writing a paper using libreoffice when my prof at uni (obviously) using ms office. But anyway I’m also curious how good libreoffice compatibility with ms office, so I’m ok for every possibility
