    So if I’d wanted to play on, say, Windows and Linux, I’d have to purchase the game twice? And sync my savegame manually?

    Yeah, no, I think I’m out. Release it on Steam.

      The official site says the DRM-free download includes both Windows and Linux (and Mac), just like the original game did.

              True, I usually find proton works better than native ports anyway though

                I have quite a few games where the native linux build is broken, too. World of Goo came out in 2008, and shockingly still works great today. I think #2 is gonna be great on Linux, too.

                  Fair enough. I find usually at the point I notice I’m on a Linux build I end up switching because there’s always something that just doesn’t quite work properly

                  Garry’s mod, tabletop simulator, oxygen not included and prob some others

                  They mostly run fine, there’s just one little thing that annoys me usually
