It really says a lot about western society where they want to see everyone else as dirty savages. You can put out any absurdity about Russia, China, DPRK, or Cuba and westerners will eagerly lap it up because it fits with their racist biases.
The secondhand embarrassment I get when these type of videos pop up on my TikTok is immeasurable. It’s rare, but they do slip through the cracks. Sometimes when I see people lapping up these obvious lies I just want to tell them to get a grip and stand up, think for once in your life! That squishy thing in your head? USE IT! I have to hold myself back every time family is around or I’ll risk prematurely disowning myself lol
